TRAINING SCHEMES

    We also collaborate with NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) NIFT.

MISSION

  • To provide financial assistance to the eligible member of Backward Classes for self employment ventures and skill development.
  • To assist in the upgradation of traditional and entreneurial skills of members of Backward Classes for efficient management of production units.

OBJECTIVES

    The objective of this scheme is to provide training to the target group to make them capable of self-dependent through appropriate technical training in the field of traditional & technical occupations and enterpreneurship. Financial assistance is provided in the form of grant through State Channelising Agencies (SCAs) Reputed training Institutions.The trainee can obtain loan under NBCFDC general loan scheme to start his business after the successful completion of training.

ELIGIBILITY

  • The applicant should belong to the Backward Classes notified by State/Central Govt. from time to time.The annual family income of the rural application and urban applicant should be below Rs.55,000/- respectively.
  • As per the admission requirements of Institute concerned.
  • Age group-18 to 35 years or as prescribed by the concerned Institute.

 

Training Programmes

  1. Institutional Linkages Programme   (ILP).
  2. Skill up-gradation Training Programme   (STP).
  3. Entrepreneurship Development Programme  (EDP).
  4. Executive management Development Programme  (EMDP).

 

Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP)

    In order to equip the beneficiaries to set up their own business, the training in entrepreneurship development is provided to prospective beneficiaries.

    Expenditure borne by NBCFDC - 100%(This includes stipend lodging and boarding)
    Duration - 10 days to 03 months
    Organisations to be contacted - SCA in respective State/NBCFDC

    Under these programmes , various training programmes have been identified for imparting training to the beneficiaries based on the locality , demand and infrastructure facility and availability list of resources. Normally, these programes are non-residential and the list of identified trades is given below :-

    Geriatric home Mushroom production
    Motor Winding Cooking (Catering)
    Masonry Fruit Processing & preservation
    Leaf Cup making Food Processing & preservation
    Zaire-Zardozi Bamboo Craft
    Maintenance & Car Repair Rope Making
    Electrician Welding
    Telephone Instrument Repair Motor Driving
    Two/Three Wheeler Electronic for Women
    Maintenance Beauty Culture
    Plumber Data Entry & Word
    Gardner Processing
    Repair and Maintenance of household Tailoring
    Electrical Appliances Photography
    Audio/Video Repairing Dairy
    Para Veterinary
    Garment Manufacturing Tailoring
    Maintenance of Farm Equipment's

    SCAs may identify need based training for beneficiaries.

    The training proposals from reputed NGOs having more then 03 years of experience with valid registration and good track record in training shall also be considered through SCAs.
